This rain barrel was commissioned by the City of Everett, Washington. It will be on display in the Downtown area, and will be available for purchase at an auction hosted by the city.

Technology connection is about the revival and continuity of our inventions that enable our modern lives. Keys and bottle caps are technologies that have been utilized for centuries, and are still used today. The rain barrel itself was used in the past and is being revived recently. The shape of the map is the Pacific Northwest waterways, where our rainwater ebbs and flows from. The ebbs and flows of both water and technology demonstrate the ingenuity, tradition and fluidity of us as humans, and enables easier lives, which frees time for artistic and philosophical pursuits that enhance our society further.
